The first colored mermaid I put up got a lot of page views and I had a few people email me and ask if I could put a background in it. So here is the Original Mermaid piece with a background added.... enjoyHere is one of the first of 30-40 pieces that will be making up my new artbook, published by Bombshell Ink. The artbook will feature fairytale characters and illustrate the process of creating each piece from start to finish.

the image is very lovely
it actually excites me to read or see this 'last call of the sirens'
her pose and tail emphasize the action that is about to be brought forth
however, i do find her right eye [nearest the trident] to be a little off
as if it is too far too the right for the perspective you are trying to bring forth [in the facial complexion]
