Many people tell me I'm on the pessimistic end of realistic, and that may be so, but I view Optimism/Positive & Pessimism/Negative as a personal thing based on how you approach it.
I've often said "expect the worst, hope for the best" - the biggest part for me though is that hope-part, I never abandon that hope, even if the worst does happen, but i never get caught off guard by the worst, because I expected it and prepared for both. In writing it certainly appears pretty pessimistic, but in proper application, it's the most positive addition to anyone's life as those who properly abide by it never, ever, ever lose.
I feel this exepct-worst-hope-best rule of mine may be why I wasn't so heavily hit by my Aunt's passing(saddened? Yes, but not devastated)...just to give you an idea of how radical this principal of change can be in anyone's life.

Thank you <3 I've definitely felt a lot better this week, I'm still not 100% okay but there's been definite improvements so I'm hopeful that everything will be back to normal soon <3

I've had an awful, awful day and this has cheered me up. Being positive really does make a difference. Otherwise, you defeat yourself before the world even tries.
