this is the first photo of my srilanka trip,i just came back today and was so excited about this photo that i just had to share it with you before emptying my suitcase
while in srilanka i visited a small tiny school of arabic and Quran in a small town called Mehewelly, Bentota
the children were so excited and happy,
the children have to travel 5 or 6 kilos from there homes to get to this school, the arrive at 2:30 and study till 5 and go back home
its an afternoon school they actually come after there normal school finishes at 1:30
the principle of the school says that sometimes the kids faint on the way to this school from hunger,
the village is so poor, and most of the families can barely eat, its so sad.. yet the all want a to learn kalam allah
