CloseupsThis was my third watercolor, I love this type of coloring and I've put a lot of work into this, it was much more than just one day, finishing overlapped with other paintings. In the end I added white ink to enhance the highlights, with a little more practice I won't be needing to do that anymore. Also, that ink glows a lot on a photograph, in reality it doesn't (:

Look's amazing, I think there could have been more structural detail but keep in mind that's just personal opinion. This is a great piece none the less! and water color gets tricky, layer and put in the picture what you invision which you've done well here..... The color's blend well and the spot's add good character. The dark purple really gives a depth with the bridge, making the viewer fell as though they're standing right there. Keep up the work, have fun with your medium, take your time and put in what you expect to get out, and don't forget to enjoy what you make!!!!

The Painting of the Charles Bridge in Prague is free of the mass of people. Painted the image has the great advantage that the bridge comes out in comparison to the photos.
