Study I did last month, I tried to experiment with masking fluid and reaaaally tried to enjoy architecture, but I'm glad I am doing portraits again in November. Hope you like it, though (:Please, don't be afraid to comment, I'd love to hear your thoughts!

water color is so hard to work with, if you put on too much water the paper gets soggy, not enough water and the paint lays thick on the page and doesn't spread as easily. and if you make a mistake you can just paint over it you have to actually start again. i guess thats why majority of artists use acrylic, but once you've mastered the basics of watercolor all that you can do is get better. i thin k this piece is really good. i love the vibrant orange and how the white makes it look scratched and old. it would have been so difficult to get such detail without the paint bleeding. absolutely sensational ^_^ keep up with the good work.

I love it! The bright orange is nice and the masking fluid effects give it a rough, textured look.
I've personally always been intrigued by images of windows, so this is so great.
