"Taka! You look.... different...." One of the hyena cubs noted."Is that so? Very astute observation, Shenzi." The malign lion cub growled from his perch.
"New mane cut?" Banzai asked hopefully.
"No, you idiots! They took away my roar! They took away my guard! They took everything!" Taka shouted. "Now I am NOTHING in father's eyes. I hardly had a place on pride rock thanks to /Mufasa/, and now that I'm not even leader of the guard, what am I worth?"
The hyena cubs only listened, quiet for once.
"No. Thats it. One day all of the pride lands will know who I am, and they'll know mother was right about me. I won't be in Mufasa's shadow any longer! This is the last straw!"

You'd think that since he was a cub when he got the scratch,it would've healed WAAAAAY before he was a full grown Lion.

Well it's a scar, and scars typically dont go away

I know but it's usually only BIG scratches or wounds that cause scars.
Like when I was 4-5 we were moving our old TV (the kind with the tiny screen and HUGE antennae)and I tried to jump over it,it ended up going into the back of my knee and I still have the Scar.
It looks like Take just has a scratch on his eye.
