Art for my book, Hawk Divine. Now available in paperback and on Kindle.I turn to the empty space beside me and watch a form coalesce. A figure only I can see. Joggers and cyclists pass by and to them I am alone. I know I am anything but. He has the head and wings of a black ibis and the body of a man. Whether he is real or imaginary is of little concern. His form shimmers and shifts like vapour. He is welcome company, his words as wise as they are perceptive. He speaks to my heart. Perhaps he is my heart? Written and fully illustrated by yours truly, Hawk Divine features my eight Egyptian Gods portrait series, as well as previously unseen work. Eight short stories unfold in a modern context, exploring aspects of each of the eight deities presented. Syncretic, supernatural and definitely different, I really hope you enjoy it!

One of my favorite ancient Egyptian gods. I've begun to start art studies of the ancient Egyptian gods and goddesses to use for a full-length Graphic Novel about several gargoyle groups from ancient Egypt living in modern-day Egypt. It's an Urban Fantasy story.

I picked the passages that inspired me most. I still dip into it every now and then, it's a beautiful and insightful book, one I doubt I'll ever stop reading

It's actually gigantic. In my bookstore the book is about 290 page long. I know it isn't something special, but hey, it's one very long book. Plus, in that book I can find how to spoke incantations on ancient Egyptian, and how to write them in hieroglyphs. I want to buy that book SOOOOOOOOOOO badly! And I think I will soon buy it

Actually glad someone did a really good realistic interpretation for Thoth. I use him in one of my series but have never successfully drawn his design due to the animal head. It's nice to see how it would come together a little more realistically and see it isn't as awkward as I thought.
