Description Art for my book, Hawk Divine. Now available in paperback and on Kindle.

It is as though a thousand eyes open inside of me, like the many and varied facets of a kaleidoscopic jewel. Simultaneously I look inside myself and outside myself and I can no longer see the difference. The many eyes overlap, becoming one great golden orb, blazing from me and upon me, taking its candid measure. It seems to approve and I hear the bird-god speak again:

Written and fully illustrated by yours truly, Hawk Divine features my eight Egyptian Gods portrait series, as well as previously unseen work. Eight short stories unfold in a modern context, exploring aspects of each of the eight deities presented. Syncretic, supernatural and definitely different, I really hope you enjoy it!

haha loving the atef-wearing hawk at the background (hedjet? pschent? does it matter? ). Seeing him always gives me much joy.

Go Nut! Nut express is awesome. You could probably go places with her help, but... i've never tried other places, come to think of it >.< just horus's place. Which you have so coincidentally drawn here, in this beautiful awesome picture. FAVE!!! DD Your gallery is totally a fave spree

Horus has a number of forms, the glowing child is Horus the child, or Harpocrates -- the newborn sun/son en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harpocra…

I dont mean it, and I know, I mean he uses his own wings as an attire hugging with those his shoulders. So, may be he is a powerfull god, but he knows how to be elegant between the humans.

Beautiful work as always - the head looks magnificent and I have an unnatural love for the presence of the bendy arm woman over the top (who I can only assume is an expert at Egyptian Aerobics/Yoga)

Hehe! That would be Nuit, probably my favourite Egyptian deity, goddess of the sky and the milky way. If you look at the milky way you can almost see it as a woman arched across the sky: [link] Or maybe its just me
