Yeah, for stuff like this I do. I don't know where it was from though, I just collect stuff from all over the net though most comes from Getty Imagebank and Tumblr.

Yeah, i should be using reference a little more often. The only thing I've done any time recently with reference was the self portrait. It helps the drawings/paintings a lot though.

At a glance I'm in love with this one. Something about the minimal colour and surrealism plus the look of the guy seems like hes just taken a trip and is seeing wonders.
Does the man look like Abe Lincon..maybe. Is he trancending time and space...maybe.
