but it would be extremely handy against huge cruisers
their armors is strong, and atackers with lots of low damage weapons would be useful

Well, when it comes to large capital class ships, I would have far more powerful ships in store, not to mention tatics that would be formidable.

that's what i'm talking about, a ship that's concentrated not in his speed or ability to hit many targets with low dmg at once, but on his one or two massive weapons, with huge dmg, that can crack larger ship's asses

Well, admitadly, I'm not a big fan of those sorts. I've only one ship that really features lots of weapons that can deal a heavy amount of damage.

Mmm, Not really my style actually. I particularly enjoy lots of smaller weapons. My reasoning behind that is that it allows you to target multiple targets, and fire at them simultaneously. While you don't get as much power, you are a lot more versatile, and a heck of a lot more dangerous, to near unapproachable. That and I don't like putting all my eggs in one basket so to speak. Better to have more then one weapon then have one and have a greater chance of it being destroyed, and ultimately leaving you defenseless.
