couldn't sleep. wanted to draw but didn't have the time to do a fully detailed art piece. so this is the return of my derp arts.

I owe my love of real robot to gundam. i remember growing up watching gundam wing on toonami. as i grew up my taste in mecha changed to appreciate the most realistic mecha anime and franchises. while i love the gritty realism of gundam series like "8th ms team" and "war in the pocket", i have always had a disconnect with the sheer size of the mobile suits.

so here is my idea for a resize of the iconic zaku II (58tons), (and an added GM ground type 54 tons). that tank is the type 61 MBT, but admittedly its a little small even being in the foreground. mistake on my part.

I love smaller mecha in general. something about a mech hiding behind forests and buildings to avoid incoming fire just seems right to me. I would love it is gundam shrank to this size, i doubt that would ever happen, but hey, i can at least draw it.
