Description For my first year in Animation the class was tasked with the assignment of creating a bedroom from scratch. The project could be modelled around an existing bedroom, or we could choose to create a piece from our own inspiration. I decided to use the opportunity to take a trip down memory lane so-to-speak and try to create something that I think most kids would love to live in. Inspired by my own childhood, as well Clunky Wilson and Aleksandr Kuskov.
This piece was created using Maya, Mental Ray and Photoshop.

Thank you foxfairy It depends on the complexity of the subject, this room for instance took about 3 weeks to do in total. 'Deep in The Woods' took 4 weeks, so I think I tend to stick to those kind of timelines.

With 3D you tend to spend alot of time troubleshooting and working out what is the best way to do something, as well as 'fixing' things as well. By 'fixing' I mean that things don't always work the way you need them too and then you have to figure out a solution.

You're welcome! I always love to see how other people have/make bedrooms. You make your bedroom from who you are, your personality reflects in it - that's why I love it so much!

Thanks Dragonfuture, I couldnt agree with you more. Its definately why you remain so attached to what you create. Alot of people just see a bedroom, but every thing in that bedroom represents a part of my childhood somehow, and like you said, the kind of person that I am. Im just glad you see it too!

Umm... maybe it's better to disable the download, but on the dropdown option which size you would like to display, just choose 1-2 size lower resolution than the original. Like that, it protects your art from getting stolen, since they cant download the original size
