Description What-if poster of Coraline had John Carpenter directed it in 1984. I decided Jennifer Connelly would be a good choice for Coraline, seeing how her career started up in 1984.

You're welcome. And Kurvos was right, a live action horror film about Coraline would save the horror genre. I mean, we do have Creepypasta, but...even that's sort of become crap lately.

That's a shame, because I've seen some people come up with some really unique ideas.

Well, I should rephrase what I said. Creepypasta itself isn't crap now, it's just given a bad rap because of the fangirls over sexualizing it, you know?

If it was a live action by him their would be good practical effects

As bennet in commando once said " I DONT NEED THE GIRL!".
I'd like to see a version of this poster without Coraline in it. Just the box. Maybe smaller taglines. The idea is so cool though. Carpenter is the man!

Not to sound like I know everything, but...um..Focus Features wasn't created until 2002.

No, I tried to look for a Carpenter poster of good quality for this, but didn't succeed. So I resulted to using the 2009 poster credits.

Did it have to be produced by Focus Pictures or is imagination not the limit here?
This isn't a real poster, it's just a possible "what if?" Scenario the artist chooses by presenting a concept.

I know, I know. It's just, if you want it to be more realistic, you might want to replace the Focus Features logo with the Universal Studios logo.

Coraline as an adult live action horror film would be absolutely perfect. Would sure as hell save the horror genre, that's for sure. ^^
