I love the Legion of Superheroes.The costumes, the characters, the powers, the flight rings, the god-damned sci-fi superheroes!!
It's an awesome concept.
The comics more often then not have lame art or art not to my taste... I loved the recent DNA Coipel run!
Anyway, I really like the new cartoon series, despite it being often very juvenille (yes I know, it's CARTOON!
), and I love the designs.It's a ton of fun to see the LOSH crew in animated action, and they're often very well scripted fight scenes showcasing the powers.
So, I'm planning to do a series of sketches of the cast, starting with Superboy... er, I mean Superman!
(darn lawsuits, or should I say... darn DC ripping of creators?

Ha ha, ahhhh, well, I just used the markers I had at the time... and went with warm tones for his blues... and my scanners crap on the markers, so they didn't pick up well

This is awesome! I like the loose-ness of it and the soft coloring.
Errg, I'm glad to see art of the cartoon! I think the first season was great and that the show has SO much potential... the art, the characters, everything. I'm desperate for the second season.

Yeah, I love the Legion, but so often can't get into the comics because of the style etc.
The show was great, especially the action.
I know it's for kids, but that's the only drawback is at times it's too kiddie...
Can't wait for more either (and more characters getting in on the action)!

of course i thought the same thing during the entire run of teen titans so i guess ya gotta let that slide
the whole leigon seems a bit lame i guess they are underpowered for plot purposes but bouncing boy sheesh that werewolf guy and what does saturn have to do with mind reading
i mean triplicate girl is neat but just brings up the carnal lez-menage thing
and the phantom girl looks just like that poor girl that batman had to kill

Yeah, since it's the cartoon Legion... you're right, I must do Supes.
Though I prefer my Legion without him.
