One thing that really speaks to me -and I don't think anyone has mentioned this yet in their comments- is the varied emotion I see in the different people's eyes. Some people, eyes downcast and glazed, look content in their haze of preoccupation. (Ignorance is bliss?) Others appear to be looking around and noticing the presence of others. They seem lost and lonely... maybe even anxious and frightened. Are they uncomfortable to be in the presence of others when they wish to be alone? Are they embarrassed about the intensity of their devotion to their own private fetishes? Perhaps they are just lonely because they don't know how to actually connect with each other anymore???

I bet that a little oceanelf threw some magic dust at you when you were a child, and it just fickled with your brain so much that you had to become a marvellous artist. I'm certain of it.
