Thanks, that is pretty much my style. I am right handed and just too lazy to move my arm..

I love the look on his face. He seems like one of those grumpy old men in movies that tells kids to get off his property. I can imagine him sitting in the park here trying to read the day's paper without some starving artist drawing him. The diagonal shading seems to work especially well here.

I know what you mean. If you ever get the chance, try looking for interesting looking people in New York.

Might be a bit hard, since I live in a little town in South Western Australia.

Might be but think about it. The world has a lot to see. Otherwise, there is still the Google.

This looks both sketchy and finished - I really like this style, hints at a character surrounded by an ever changing world.

Thanks for sharing this!

never seen this style before, unique in a good way

The movement created by the line makes the setting appear to be on a train or bus or something.

cool!

Thank you very much for the feedback, it shows me that people are actually having a good look at my work and not just flicking past it,

Cheers

I love the line work around the eye, cheek and shirt that really pop out from the rest of the drawing. If I may make a suggestion, I can tell that you're right handed from this drawing. By that i mean that the majority of the lines go in the same direction. Very cool technique but i wanna say try drawing a piece where all the lines follow the contour of what each line is meant to describe. That way the viewer really has to try and figure out how you drew it and each line no matter how small will have character. You've got a lot of skill

Ohh, I love your drawings. It's like your subject is growing out of the lines, becoming a figure from the background -- or fading into it. Great light and shadow <3
