A really lovely piece. To me the seems very comfortable on his branch, well balanced just absent mindedly massaging his foot as he converses with the viewer.

How do you begin to create a piece like this, with such character?

You style reminds me a little of Brian Froud, do you like his work at all?

reminds me of pang tong from dynasty warriors, without the mask of course. very nice detail on it. wish i drew like that and simply put, "just a hand drawing"
