They moved quickly now through the darkened corridors - Rhiannon no longer needed a guide to find her way, for she knew exactly whom she was looking for and where she was.
Healer followed quietly, and as the halls grew darker, the crystals more like daggers, her shadow grew whiter. Finally, the two reached the massive doors marked with their intricate runes and sigils, guarded by Angels with black wings. Rhiannon steeled herself and pushed the doors open - wondering what state she'd find the occupant in.
Inside, sitting on a silver thrown and decorated in dark gemstones sat a reflection of herself in many ways - though individual in many more. The combination Venus and Moon laughed as the red-head entered. "Well, look who's late to the party - ABOUT TIME!" she screamed, and leaned forward in her chair. She was clearly not all that stable.
"You could have always told me you were here, Sister." Rhiannon said cautiously.
"And ruin the fun of watching you run around in those skirts you so hate?" Aphrodytie laughed. "You've been wondering why you are here, why the shadows turn to light, and why all of this, haven't you? Well, you can blame that little Vychiuria spawn Saliya there - he's the one who created this whole shindig." She gracefully leaped from her throne and landed inches away from her sister. "And why do you suppose he did it? Don't answer." She waved her hand. "It's because of you, it always is you know."
Rhiannon dared only a glance out of the corner of her eye to her soulmate, who clearly stood debating something. Rhiannon then turned back to her sister. "It's them, isn't it - those people who took root in the universe you made."
"Well, aren't you the genius..." Aphrodytie laughed mockingly. "Now why do you suppose they're here?"
"To invade - what else would they be anywhere for," Rhiannon sighed.
Aphrodytie gave a soft look for a moment, and then turned away. "It wasn't always like that. But that's not important. Yes - they will invade the dimension you are in, and should you repel them, they will head for that little sandbox you made for Sailor Senshi to play in."
"I see.. So even if we do repel them - one small army against a very large one - they'll just head for the Universe? Great." Rhiannon walked to Healer. "That was your message, wasn't it? That they're coming, and we need to be ready - thank you." She said, and kissed her.
"When we meet again," Healer said. "We may be opposing one another on many things - but never our hearts. Keep your promise and find me, soulmate."
Rhiannon nodded, as all faded to white.
