I had mentioned a storyline for a Fanon of ROTTMNT, and here are some more visuals for it!
As well as a bit more lore:
It begins as such.
Renet ends up messing up in her duties and let's a chaotic interdimensional being loose. This being possesses the current Timelord of their usual dimension and decides to cause chaos in both a time that is convenient and also to upset Renet, since she was tasked with keeping him imprisoned. So it decided to destroy the existence of the Turtles. The timelord has the ability to travel anywhere regardless of using the time scepter (time scepter helps access into other dimensions as well as time), so the entity used them to travel back in time and prevent Draxum from even beginning the mutation process, and thus, keeping Splinter from becoming who he was and stopping the turtles from being "born".
When this happens time has to do a universal reset, erasing what doesn't exist and placing what does back into a more proper place.

Which means, Splinter remains Yoshi, Draxum is MIA and the turtles no longer exist. Time had reset everything, so people were moved to where they would be if they had never met the turtles, as well as their memories of the turtles not existing. However, people more impacted by the turtles end up having feelings of deja vu and can be snapped back from alternate memories. Dawn is one of the first, mostly because her crystal helps bring her back.
Renet apears to Dawn first, when she is able to remember more, and explains the situation, as well as asking for help to right the mistakes that were done.
Dawn knows they can't do it alone, so she enlists three other people she KNOWS she can find, which is April, Ren and Casey. April is easier to remind, due to her Hamato Clan connection. Ren and Casey are a bit harder, but that's also cause neither had quite left the Foot Clan yet.

Once reminded, they are tasked by Renet to help traveling back in time to both free the Timelord and save their friends before the changes to time set in permanently.

The outfits they are given are used to help them both blend into whatever time period they are a part of (the clothing changes as needed), as well as to keep their very beings from being wiped out of the timeline if they are in a place before they were even born/in a place where their past self was.
