OK so could you help me.
Does it matter what paper you use? im just using some standard A1 sheets with permanent marker will that like mess up the design when i actualy come to putting the paste on the paper?

The thinner the paper the better. People tend to use photocopies or screenprints when they paste. It would be better to draw small and then blow it up. You want to make sure you soak both sides of the paper when you paste it up to ensure it will stay up so brush the reverse side first get it up then coat the front.
Thats about all you need to know.

You should tile it in situ instead of sticking it together at home.
