A little gift for for his DAZ retirement, showing him/his OC getting to on drawing and writing under the glow of the monitor, his passion alight with ideas!
I would never have been here without him, literally the first piece from him was a Krystal pic, then I did a Krystal, then to ponies and so on to now. I can say in confidence that I would either be still using kisekae or just gave up on art completely if I never met Owl, so here's to you old man..you might be younger than me... without your guidance I'd never be anywhere close to what I can do now. Wherever you go now, you're going to nail it, this I know! Thanks man <3

Indeed, a wooden chainsword. There's also a mini Salamander figure where she's reaching, but its too dark to tell hehe

This was incredibly sweet of you to do, and I'm touched. It's been an honor, Jawolf, and I'm thrilled we got to go on this ride together.
As for the pic itself, as Flipped said, it looks wonderfully lived in. I love the little detail of the books leaning like that, as though someone just recently pulled a few out. And all the little knickknacks she's got scattered around are great. I love the Chief helmet perched up there.

Mm, I was gong for a room that fit with you as best as I could, using what I know, Chief, Blaze, Cream, even Krystal and a Salamander marine in the darkness that she's reaching for that I couldn't get into the light properly Xd
Its not a sad time, far from it even! The art style may change, but its still from your heart, and that's what matters in the long run, yes? ^^

He'll still be here with us but true, I'd miss his work. It made me see characters in different ways.

Some stuff of his has been taken down, but that was some time ago. I just remember joking with him about possible future stuff like tomboy Flurry and how her mother would be shocked but her father would support it! I was also impressed at how he made Scootaloo still be a total tomboy but still be a bit girly at the same time (in the show she is a somewhat girly tomboy too me anyway). And his sympathetic work on Silver Spoon and Diamond Tiera.
Who know he said if the spark come back he may do it again.

Tomboy Flurry was also something he inspired me with, as wel las the half girly half tomboy Scooots now that I think about it.

I see Flurry as having too keep up royal appearances but then going wild with her daddy and the guards after. I don't see Scoot's as 50/50%, that's Applebloom, I see her as a tomboy with a defined girly side with Sweetie as girly with a defined tomboyish side.
I dare you to do them that way!
