Description
Created for a competition on matte effect. This was modeled and camera projected in maya and then the matte painting was done in photoshop. final effects and compositing was done in after effects.Here is the camera projection and breakdown of the matte painting:

The limited colour palette really adds to the depth of the image - the ruins at the horizon truly do look further away!
