Um, yeah.A Genet fem' Spacer type. Her suit was fun to color. Done in one afternoon.
Mixed media (watercolor, prisma pencils, acrylic) on 11"x14" illustration board.

I'm looking at this, and it says "Michael Whelan" to me. This is not at all a bad thing for it to say, as I'm rather partial to his work - which for a great part involves science-fiction book covers. It's not his style, technically speaking, but the composition looks very much like something he'd like to paint. If you find a matching story, would make a good front page.
