Description
Something I drew for my own enjoyment between commissions.Jaxx as a (hefty, more realistic) pit bull, she's a 'trucker in space' (Space freighter pilot). She works on a shoe-string budget and one of her favorite repair tools is Duct Tape... much to the horror of her little 'bot co-pilot...

Great character concept! Love the description, I can definitely see that portrayed in your picture as well. And it's cool to see that you drew a hefty character (especially a female one) because you don't see a lot of them on dA.

I'm really fond of the realistic, pit-bull anthro shape of her. The chains and grunge textures go really nicely with the black of her body.
My favourite details have to be the subtle shading in her ears, the shine of the metal, and the folds of her clothes :3

I decided to make her a heavy-set girl, like me. I find far too few anthro's out there have a realistic body shape, many people seem to draw avatars that are oddly skinny, too muscular, way too "perfect".

I have noticed a trend for remarkably skinny anthros, especially anthro persona representations which clearly don't resemble the animal or the person they're representing.

It's a well known fact that duct tape, gaffers tape, electrical tape, and bubblegum CAN fix everything, including space ships, if used in the proper proportions!

Very clever and original! I like the character design, the way the lights fromt he robotic assistant shine, and the fact that she's a lover of ducttape! Great fun in this one!

Would that be million-mile-an-hour-tape?
There's technically two kinds of "duct tape," "sixty-mile-an-hour" tape commonly known, and available, and a much stronger tape referred to as "thousand-mile-an-hour" tape used for aviation. It's certified for use on aircraft for temporary repairs, not an easy badge of honor to get.

Looks good. I love how even without a face you can see the worried "You shouldn't do that!" look on the robot. You did good with the lighting too.
