A true beauty with some secrets that she'd never tell; here her eyes seem so open, friendly, earnest, inquisitive and inviting (though not in a lascivious way) yet there is an air of mystery about her. With her hair partially covering her face and eyes, that is her veil! And behind it, behind that veil? My god, I'd love to know....

You caught a truly wonderful moment here, one that tells so much and yet she innocently, almost naively, obfuscates some small matter of truth. There is so much that is captured in this one fleeting moment, and their final sum is this: 

"What I know, I will not tell; what you want, I will not give; what you offer, I won't accept; what I need, you cannot provide; the beauty and truth I see, you'll find you're blind to it; what I seek, you'll never know; where I go, you will not, cannot, dare not tread; what's inside, you'll never see, you'll never know; what's profound, you do not know; what I know, I'll never tell..."

She is strong, resilient, charming, Powerful:

Break what she can; what she can't, set those parts against themselves to weaken!

She looks so much like a woman I loved very deeply, a love I lost a long time ago; a woman the whole world lost, and we're all the less for it....

So for me to see this beautiful, smiling, enigmatic woman in such a perfectly composed photograph... I'm saddened. But it makes me remember her. And for that, I thank you.
