For the second year running, my comic "Bodie Troll" will be part of Red 5's Free Comic Book Day issue. I was also asked to design the back cover of the issue, which I've showcased here, showing the development of the cover, from rough sketch to colored completion.Bodie Troll © Jay P. Fosgitt

Thanks, Chad, and thanks for noticing the floor! I originally looked through tons of textures, thinking I'd just lay down one of those for the floor. Then it seemed to me that I really needed to draw the floor by hand, to keep it uniform with the characters. So I came up with this wonky paving stone-kinda design. I plan on posting another step by step process for the poster I just did for Cherry Capital Comic Con.

Excellent! Seeing your Bode Troll comic in the 2012 FCD was a real treat. Indeed, I thought it was far and away the best in that issue, with more story and interesting characters in it than all the rest combined. it prompted me to order your upcoming book.
