This is adorable. Grover was always more awesome than Elmo (who has seem to take his spot in the show).

The mightiest vigilante monster of Sesame Street!

AFTER STUPOR DUCK....SUPER GROVER IS MY FAVE non comic book super hero... followed by Letter Man ( you know, the guy that could change a duck into....yeah, him... i was a huge electric company addict thanks to those short spidey stories)

Letterman rules! I learned how to draw block lettering when I was four from watching that cartoon. I think they should bring it back as a comic book, drawn in the same loose, funky style as the original cartoon!

Super Grover was cool. I think it had something to do with the medieval helmet. Also, as a kid, I think I was impressed when Grover would become Super Grover in "real life" outside the context of the usual sketches on Sesame Street. Kind of like if Rowlf had turned out to be a real doctor as opposed to just sometimes playing one on The Muppet Show. I dunno.

Man Super Grover was great. To bad he could never stick that landing.
Also I was pissed when I saw they not only recreated the Grover puppet where he doesn't look the same, they redesigned Super Grover as well. He has armor and gauntlets now.

Yeah, his costume is way too overblown these days.

His overblown outfit is only for the Super Grover 2.0 sketches and those are supposed to parody the overblown super-hero movie revamps we see today.

"And I am... CUTE, too!" ^_^

I always love when you take on the Muppets, Jay! You add a touch of flavor that just transcends what Henson and Co. did with them.

You must do more, MORE I say! Thanks for sharing, Jay!

You're getting them done pretty fast, you must be on a roll.

Well, I always try to complete these within a week of getting commissioned. It's fair to the consumer, and it helps me out, since the sooner I get the commissions done, the sooner I'll have time to do more of them!

Well that makes perfect sense. I was just impressed at how quickly you could do them.
