I can tell this isn't manip better then the vs shot (saw via the model deviations) as I can see the background detail much better here. Can totally see how this is a full fledge photo (with a little tweaking [the whole black to skin areas bit]) now great job as always. Additionally kudos to those who created the set and the lighting just as much.

Never been a fan of the comic or the TV series, but I enjoy this picture. I'm not entirely sure why the picture has blue and green sections, but I like how the blue background balances the blue arc of the Witchblade. The Witchblade looks different from what I've seen, but that too is an improvement. The curve of the blade holds your focus on the character, while the line of her dress leads up from the bottom point of the blade, to the character, whose white hair leads into the white of the collar (?) and up to the upper point of the blade.
And it just occurred to me that the blade and her arms form the letter W. That's pretty cool.
