yeah Yugino was an interesting oc in all honesty (Her quirk is similar to Kirishima and Tetsutetsu, but with bone armor)
she is almost the opposite of Lawrence in a sense

Yeah all it took was her embarrassing herself at the Sports festival to get her to be ok with letting down her guard

I don't think it's unoriginal at all! Even in canon, a lot of people have similar quirks (i.e. Tetsutetsu and Kirishima lol).Β

an original idea i had was that from her forearms she was also able to grow out something akin to riot shield made of dense bones that would still be attached to her bodyΒ

it was something that was with her always, shes had it since young....its useful for defense but has a few exploitable weaknesses (As in a fight it can obscure her vision, cause her to get stuck in narrow areas and requires her arms to be in a certain position to be most effective)
yeah i call it an idea cause ive considered getting rid of that aspect of her quirk...but im still unsure

I had the same issue with Hariko, where I had an idea for her quirk and ended up getting rid of it. Good luck deciding on whether or not to keep it!
