So it's Christmas present uploading time!
This one's for my dad (and it'll be safe here till Christmas because I know he doesn't know how to work deviantart lol) We went to Estes Park Colorado to hear the Elk bugle this year, but didn't hear any until it was too dark to see them. I drew this using some pictures from that trip as references for the mountains and the Elk, supplemented with some google images since my elk pics were so dark and blurry >_>

I think you did a really nice job on this. I remember going to Estes one year to hear the elk. Drove towards the park in the early pre-dawn. Came to a spot where there were elk on both sides of the road. The two big bulls on either side were bugling at each other with me sitting in my car between them. It was way to dark to photograph them, but I will never forget how incredible that was! Your neat picture reminds me of that. Thanks!
