long story short, she was a very curious and adventurous child who got into something she shouldn't have and it cursed her arm. her parents brought her to an old woman who specializes in magic and enchantments who told them that ultimately, she is just a host for this magical stuff and it will one day take over her entire body. Caiyah is trying to learn ho to control it, though, and it allows her to use magical powers. she lives in a post-apocalyptic mixed with fantasy setting.
