With Raul dead, and most of his forces standing down, the Great War came to a close. Xob took up his position as Grand Lord of the Venrock Empire, and brought peace to Midden, and immediately helped rebuild the fractured Vulpesant nation. Most of the planets population welcomed this peace and approved their new leader, but those who remained loyal to Lord Raul wished for swift and absolute retribution on those who had turned against them. They clandestinely formed an organization known as the Loyalists, and began to work against Xob and the entire Vulpesant race.

Lead at first by Anaboa Nhyloci until she was killed by a Vulpesant mob when her airship crashed, the Loyalists were a potent terrorist organization, sabotaging construction projects, poisoning wells and reservoirs, and even assassinating Venrock politicians in broad daylight. Baask Nhyloci stepped up to take her fallen sisters position and lead the Loyalist militia on a campaign that would take her to the Venrock capital, where she personally confronted Xob himself. She was able to best him in a duel, but was shot in the back a mere instant before delivering the killing strike. Due to her robust Hikki anatomy and armor, she survived and was able to escape to a waiting airship that had descended from the heavy cloud cover. Xob made it his personal goal to hunt down and exterminate his predecessors supporters, and once he had recovered from his wounds, he lead a moderate fleet of airships into the Green Sea to seek them out.

This drawing initially started as a really fancy pleated dress, but turned into something much fancier. The Loyalists were originally called the BCA, the Beudichai Chemical Alliance, but I thought that sounded silly so I renamed them. You'll be seeing more of Baask here, probably fighting Xob or punching some children. Yeah, she's that evil.
