This is my "pretty damn close" wooden replica of Mal's gun from the fantastic, legendary, epic science-fiction-space-western Firefly. It's a full scale prop pistol, made entirely out of poplar, whitewood and a little bit of PVC. It points like a real gun, is comfortable and accurate to hold, and would look as good on your mantel in a stand (possibly to be added to my shop later) as it would on your hip at a cosplay convention.

Pictured is the prototype, so it's not perfect, but future versions (ones I can make for you) will have the on-screen accurate octagonal barrel and shell-eject doors that the actual gun features. I will also include a removable orange tip to slide over the barrel for con purposes. The gun can come in two finishes (although I am open to suggestions for more), which are gunmetal (black, with a silvery finish), or gold (like in the pictures).

I use pine, whitewood and poplar, along with high-quality spray paints, stains and glues to make my props, so they're built to last.
