My opinion is this: In the earlier minutes of the movie, show MJ getting killed off, give Gwen some quality screen time without being complete fan service, and bring in Felicia/Black Cat as a would-be hero who is walking the line between good and bad as well as be Pete's new love interest.
Then again, I've been biting for Black Cat since number two.
On the art, however, love it, man! Cat is one of my favorites.

First off, thanks for the compliment on the art.
About the movie, you cant kill of MJ. I say have MJ and Pete get in a big fight. Then MJ gets offered a big budget movie gig that takes her away for awhile to Hollywood.
As Pete tries to mend his broken heart he swings into the city. hears the museum alarm, swings in and takes out 2 unsuspecting hooded theives. As he webbs them up to the nearest lightpost he hears a whistle, turns and looks to the roof top across the the street and sees... Felicia! (played by a sexy Jessica Beil (Blade 3) or Gisele BΓΌndchen (Taxi) or dare I say Tara Reid (American Pie) or who I honestly think could do it is Lindsay Lohan (Mean Girls) or Jennifer Alden (Wedding Crashers).
Clad in skin tight shiny vynal with the PETA feiendly faux fur and flowing white hair blowing in the wind she waves the shiny diamond she just lifted from the museum (exhibit funded by Fisk Inc of course) and Spidey then blows him a kiss before disappearing into the night!
Bam! Into the movie!

Ok, I'll settle for the movie deal. They worked something liked that for their problems before and it was believable.
As far as Felicia is concerned, I'm all than fine with Jessica Beil. I think she would fill out the costume nicely, and she's a fairly decent actress if people would give her a chance.

Yeah I agree. I have always seen her and Julia Stiles interchangable and I like her better. Personally I would have liked to see Elisha Cuthbert (The Girl Next Door) or Scarlett Johanson (The Island) or Natalie Portman (Star Wars) or Evangeline Lily (Lost) or...
ok let me stop droolin here. 
Oh and you can say anything "inappropriate" that you wanna. I dont think anyone minds a lady peepin out the ladies...

Dunst is cute, I think Stiles is much sexier though. I'm not an MJ fan really though, to me she's the Jessica Rabbit of spiderman.

As far as MJ, in a way its nice because the good guy got the "hot girl" but at the same time, I always liked the good guy getting the nice and "hotter han we originally thought" girl like in the 80's movies. You know when she takes off her glasses and ets her hair down suddenly she's hot.
But MJ has always been nice to him so... I also like that she knows that she is always going to be the number 2 choice behind Gwen Stacy. (see Spider-Man Blue by Jeff Leob and Tim Sale)

Well, she'll always be 2nd best; she has to be. I still haven't seen SM3 because through the first and second they called Dunst MJ but gave her half of Gwen's persona. I mean, when she fell in the first one and spidey caught her I was like "Oh Goodie, she's gonna die!" but, no that couldn't have happened because people recognize MJ. And then in 3 they're like "Look everyone, we'd like you to meet Gwen Stacey." I think somewhere it should say "back from the dead for all you real fans."
Sorry I didn't mean to start in on my "Hollywood killed Gwen Stacy and called her MJ" rant.

No I feel the same way so no appologies needed. I have made that comment when discussing SM3. You could have put anyone in that role and called her by any name and it wouldnt have taken away from the movie. Calling her Gwen didnt do anything but make everyone think that she was going to fall off of the bridge and... well... ya know.
Its too bad because Bryce did a great job of playing a lovable Gwen.
