Sure has been getting cold in Sydney D: saw many pretty aliens in nice clothes today in the city so decided to draw some in a pic :3 i give you.. WINter alien. thinking of tryin to do one daily or a few daily so i dun spam... so i can note down clothes ppl wear :3

i see several people like you, having good control of their teqnique,but being too anime, and they're getting people very impressed, for me,people always made me stop drawing anime style because they used to say that wasn't very professional...i don't understand!!!i draw good,but i'm a fucking mess!!

But at the same time i dont get swayed, i keep true to my style and then learn some other styles so i can be flexible (well trying to learn) just gotta have some faith in yourself~ dont let ppl dictate what you can or cant do

LOL, yeah i got told my anime style isnt professional? that's why this isnt excatly anime, i dont think you've watched any anime that looks like this. It has a touch of anime, but not exactly anime. I still get turned down alot when i go for design jobs because design firms in Australia are not fond of anime style, so i understand where you are coming from

exactly,a little anime, i say the same about my art, anyway, what i meant is, people is amazed for styles like yours, ( just look at your comments) ToT i try so hard to draw the right proportions,the nose,lips,the composition of the picture etc, and no one turns to see my art!!!
anyway, some day.... ajajja don't listen to me your great!
i'm just angry because i listened to other people around me saying "get rid of the anime touch"..,etc,now i'm all confused!

LOLOLOL, nah ive had my fair share of critique which is why i avoided drawing bodies before coz i couldnt get the right proportion. During highschool we had to do those V.A classes and i could never get in the mood of drawing coz i did not like still life stuff, and wen i drew anime the teacher wasn't too impressed. During uni i revolved everything around anime - which is pretty bad coz now im looking at my folio and its all anime -0- wish i had more variety. But w/e, eventually one of my teachers really liked my drawings and pushed for it (if you look @ my major project series in my gallery) [link] and then from tehre it kinda just started, i wanted to find my own style that people wouldnt say " omg its just anime again " but has a touch of something else. After my project finished i was in a slump for a while till i created a tumblr then i jsut started drawing because it was like i wanted to update everyday or atleast everyweek. I did w/e was fast and could lighten my mood and i created the aliens~ which were a touch of everything - anime, my own style & real life.
i think its all about how far you push it, don't give up i changed my style ALL the time, alot of the stufff i made before you cant really tell i drew it

Sometimes when I think up outfits I go and search for them online or something and I never find what I'm looking for. I think to myself,"WHY HASN'T ANYONE MADE THIS YET?!" lol.
