Description

So I've made a map for my original fantasy world called Quatruna. This is the world where my story takes place.

Quatruna is not a separate world, actually it is the twin world of the Earth, it is the same planet, except it is in a different dimension. Therefore Quatruna has the same Sun, Moon and stars as the Earth. This world is made of two major continents, and a few smaller, however the true division of Quatruna is made of four pieces. These four areas has unique climate and weather, each part is ruled by one season. Despite Quatruna has many seas and oceans, these parts are named Forests, the Forest of Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter. There are few conditions, when the weather of Quatruna is unified:

- When a new king or queen is chosen, the season changes to Autumn world-wide until the coronation.

- When the king or queen falls in love, the season changes to Winter, until the engagement, or until the love ends.

- After the engagement, the season changes to Spring, and lasts until the end of the wedding. This makes the couple King and Queen.

- When the Queen becomes pregnant, the season changes to Summer, until the end of the pregnancy.

The four Forests meet in two points on the planet. In one point, there lies the capital of Quatruna, Reonamnis (it was called the Palace Town before, however Eliona changed its name to Reonamnis, in honor of her deceased husband, Reanold, also derived from the river of the town, the Eolamnis). In the other intersection point, there is another grand city, called Eramy, lying between the two branches of the river Sinmaloe, near the Hincot, the greatest mountain of Quatruna.

There is a lot of places that I know little about, also a lot of other towns that I didn't put on the map, but I've tried to give a name to most of the lands and seas. Quatruna also has a lot of lakes and rivers, but they do not have major role in the story yet along with the other towns, but from time to time I will refresh the map and give more details to it.
