Description I had WAY too much fun using GIMP for the first time... I regret nothing!

Here's the first look at Caeperus, a moon that orbits Hethrim, the main planet in Rhoenoak. A lot of the story takes place on Caeperus but not in every one of its regions. Even though I'm writing a story that follows a certain path, I want to illustrate and show the world(s) beyond what the main character sees. What I've labeled are the main regions on Caeperus, but there are many sub-regions as well - for simplicity and the desire to not clutter the map with text, I've only included the names of the main regions.

I drew this map, colored it with colored pencil, took a picture and uploaded it into GIMP, then messed around for a while until I arrived at what you see here. Most of the brushes I used are from  - I know there's more, but I can't remember them since it was so long ago. Please, forgive me! T_T

Caeperus is a small inhabitable moon, roughly the size of the planet Mercury. Hethrim, however, is larger than the planet Jupiter - it's freaking huge. Drawing Hethrim will take a lot longer, as many of the regions are larger than Caeperus itself. Either way, it will be fun for me and hopefully enjoyable to the eyes. The main purpose of the maps is to be informative, so even if they look crappy, they're worthwhile if they get the point across.

More information about my book can be found on Facebook , Instagram , and Amazon . The book is currently available in both ebook and paperback versions, and now in audio! If you're interested, you can check out any of those links or you can message me directly. I'd love to nerd out with you! :3
