Well, it's definitely a bit (a lot) off-center, but it was still pretty fun to mess around with my camera's open shutter. Whenever there's snow on the ground, I'm outside.

Summer = bugs. Bugs suck. Spiders are fun to watch and cicadas are nice to listen to, but the swarm of mosquitoes after your blood and the never-ending barrage of gnats flying into every exposed orifice can make summer a dreadful season. Oh, the heat can be pretty unbearable too. There's only so many layers of clothing one can take off before you're naked, and even then you're still too hot! Winter on the other hand is free from the plague of insects. Nothing but the cold, dark, desolate atmosphere that offers a soothing break from the other parts of the year. Also, snow is freaking awesome to play around in! Another wonderful benefit of the snow is that it reflects light very well. Moonlit nights in the middle of winter are captivating, but when you throw a multi-color lightsaber into the mix, well, things get pretty interesting.

I normally practice martial arts with wooden weapons, but every once in a while I'll mess around with my lightsabers. The lightsaber is a bit heavier as well, so it's a nice opportunity to increase my strength. If only I had more nerdy friends with their lightsabers... we could have a winter rave! Or an epic jedi/sith battle.
