I personally don't think the Spinosaurus was that big (I mean the 18 meters estimate, not the 13 meters Spino in JP3). It probably had a shorter tail because of this huge neural process that continues on its tail. Also, I don't think in Theropods, the females were larger, in Archosaurs, its often the contrary. If you look, in Crocodiles, males are often bigger than females, the same case in Birds (except for the Accipitriformes, the males Birds were almost always larger than their female counterparts) and also, in the Pterosaur Geosternbergia, the adult specimens (probably females) with a small crest are almost 2 times smaller than the adult specimens with a large crest (probably males). And I agree with you, the Spinosaurids were specialized fishers and small game hunters, and even if it had long arms, in Theropods, they were not really flexible and the Spino couldn't use them to attack a big aimal in front of it. If the encounter in JP3 was more accurate, the Spinosaurus or the juvenile, inexperienced T. rex, probably flee away or the Spino would try to intimidate the T. rex with its sheer size and this big thing on its back.

Actually, Spino couldn't do half of the things it did in JP3. For one thing, when it twisted T-Rex's neck, it was holding onto it with its front claws. Spinosaurus couldn't do that because it lacked a wrist function. That's how humans are able to grab onto things.

nowadays spinos is everyones favorite lol, before jurassic park half you spino fans didnt even know about that species of dinos most of you have no idea bout baronyx and suchominus which i feel are alot more interesting than spinosaurs and btw rewatch the fight and see that trex bites spinos neck which eveidently would have cracked his neck and if not it has been discovered that trexs teeth were riddled with certain grooves in them to keep in rotted bits of flesh created an rancid and lethal bacterial infection in every bite just like komodo dragons so the spino wouldnt have been so sprite thru out the film as seen but the spino once gettin chomped dwn on his neck like that, shouldnt have survived but hey ur spino fan so i know you will disagree even though i knew very much of this dino before jp3 came out n for the record jp3 doesnt exist to true fans of jurassic park lol

where are you getting your facts from? ive been studying dinosaurs since 92 and still do in my spare time i was on my way to becoming a paloentologist, and as far as i see your going by much aesthetic value of what the media is purposing spino was he was not much more muscular as you purpose, theres no evidence of his so called swimming capabilities and further more he was a fragile dinosaur pinned to keeping his sail out of harms way his sail was attached to his spine making it a very vulnerable spot if damaged or fell down hed be in much trouble, spinosaur was sooped up for the film and the 3rd is the least scientific of the three ask any dino enthusiast the third was a joke, the pteradons had teeth raptors were as smart as monkeys and spinosaurs was on steriods...read up on the real spinosaur family tree and most of what your reading is conjecture anyways when fossils are found it takes years for real facts about them to come out there is still new info on stan and sue coming out everyday and new spinosaurids are being discovered all the time look at real paleo art renderings of irratator, baryonyx , suchomimus and see these were not muscular dinos this certian sect was complied of slender animals not bulit for power but more for small prey and such ex) "In most predatory dinosaurs, the jaws were broad either in width, height, or both, while spinosaurid jaws were thin and narrow. This lead paleontologists like Sues, Frey and Martill to conclude that spinosaurids, unlike other theropods, were not specialized in attacking large, struggling prey.[9]" its been proven by the remnants of the remains of a baryonyx found in 86 that they were fish hunters... the teeth and jaws prove much as due the bones any artist from stan winston studio will tell you spino was sooped up to look scarier n more powerful then a rex though spinos are bigger they are not built of the tough cloth that predators as allo, giga, or rex were made from...so this can go on...and on...and i have a library my friend on justr dinos over 32 books and letters an magzines series since the early 90s of studies on these great creatures...so iono study more then spino and look for real facts becuz jp3 is a crock of a movie and it didnt proof shit but give fame to a dinosaur everyone knew but didnt care bout really and thats the real truth lol

Spinosaurus is not new...its that jp gave him the jump if in jp4 they put Pegomastax in the movie all the sudden a bunch of people would jump in the band wagon and favorite it as well, hey look i know you LOVE spino which is cool in all but at the end of day Trex was natures perfection in design to kill and predatory ways, spino is a great fish eater and hunter but, its not built to withstand brute strength and cunning analysis, sheer size isnt everything and if thats your strong point on this argument then its rendered mute.... because after the extensive studies being conducted in recent you yourself just told me water deposits and swimming around this animal never dealt along vicious herbivores as the likes of triceratops, ankylosaurs the predators hunting these animals down were built differently comparing the bone and anatomy of killers as such giga, rexes, allos, and other predators the evidence is all there to proof otherwise...and if like i said we all know its bigger in size, okay and,,? size is not the issue here, the issue being is the habitat the prey...and then you will see the ferocity of any animal an animal that stalks mice is not going to kill and animal built to stalk zebras

Again, size does not make everything, which is why I still think Spino would win due to his fierce claws, arms, agility, muscles, and tail. Which is why I think T-Rex has a good chance against Spino and the other top 3, but would still not win. Size doesn't matter all the time, but it does when it comes with trying to hit vital areas. Spinosaurus is new considering the length of popularity from T-Rex, and the freshness of Spinosaurus. He is, for me, the best dinosaur.

and for that female rex comment females if they are indeed related to birds and in most animal settings are not colorful they usually display dull colors thus the rex in jp3 is of bright greens and in the size comparasion to the rex in jp1 u can see a grand difference

fianlly, somebody who isn't blinded by jack horner, whom thinks that the spinosaurus was bigger. IT WASN'T AND YOU ARE A LIAR FOR TELLING EVERYBODY IT IS!!! (despite the fact that every single spinosaur skeleton found was no longer than 25 feet at full grown)

the scene in jp3 was only done on the fact the horner is completely bias against tyrannosaurs, hes been tryin to dethrone the king since forever callin it a scavenger, his theories on dinosaurs have served well except his rex ones, so his ill views of rex lead to the dreadful scene in 2001 their speculation on the spino is jus that speculation up until a decade ago they had the skull all wrong spino is still on the ?? on its real size..so as far as that goes horners speculating toooo much

it did but dnt tell the Argentineans that lol i had a huge debate with one bout it and the differences in teeth and skull structures and the tyrannosaur-ids were natures shark on land during that era...they evolved at the end of the era of dinos for a reason its natures answer to the perfect carnivorous animal
