Description This is my second attempt for Hoodie, yesterday i did the first one. As i was almost done, Illustrator crashed and of course i forgot to save it once (usually I do every half an hour)
Now I am kinda glad, cos I like this one more then the first one..

Whoa, I was pretty sure it was some kind of marker work - traditional or digital, but I wouldn't suspect it to be vector. You managed to create the great traditional feel and, of course, the girl looks lovely. Instant

very cool, especially love love LOVE how you did her legs. As a slight critique, maybe define her upper body (shoulder especially) better? And i think it'd look nice if you let her hair go long and smooth down her back

I am glad u like it , I really enjoyed making my newest pieces, i think i'll stick with a vector for a while u should try it, its great fun

ah... though most of my deviations are digital painting, im not very good with computers.. xD; the only tool i use in photoshop are the brush tool and blur tool. xD
i would love to try it though... any good tutorial reccomendation? :3

jbvillain In reply to kirakisu [2010-02-24 10:00:42 +0000 UTC]

I spent hours looking for tutorials and then I realized I am just wasting time.Just draw couple of random shapes and play with transparency and blending options, gradient and warp I use a lot...and massive help was learning keyboard shortcuts
U learn quicker trying out stuff, then watching tutorials, how other people do it..
Enjoy it

Wow, this is just so frantic and amazing. Also, it's something I don't feel like I've seen a million times.

If I can say anything critique-wise, I would say that the shoe looks a bit wobbly and messy, where the rest of the piece is just so angular and fluid, it was kind of jarring to hit that as I scrolled down.

That said, I'm saying that it diminishes the piece from 100% to like 96%.

This is still simply a marvelous effort. Thanks!

thank you very much mate, much appreciated comment. I had an issue with that shoe, couldnt get it right, so gave up at the end. I have an assessment tomorrow for this project, I'll try to fix it..
Thanks again
