"So a few people won't get a few letters, boo hoo! You know the kind of letters people write. 'Dear somebody you've never heard of, how is so-and-so? Blah-blah-blah-blah-blah-blah-blah. Yours truly, some bozo.' Big loss."This is the large version of a commission for Ryan Mead (a.k.a. mobo85 on Toon Zone), a fellow who isn't on DA but still requested my services for an interesting project. In recognition of the US Postal Service's new "Simpsons" stamps, he asked for a drawing of Homer struggling with a mailbox - a drawing that he could shrink down to print on an envelope. I'll e-mail the small version to him, but here's the big version for everyone to see!

I instantly got reminded of the episode "Blood Feud" when I saw that image.
Homer: "Dear Mr. Burns, I'm so glad you're enjoying my son's blood, and your card was just great. In case you can't tell, I'm being sarcastic. You... Stink! You are a senile, buck-toothed old mummy, with bony girl-arms, and you smell like an elephant's butt!"
Well with that quote out of the way I actually would like to get those new Simpsons stamps, but I haven't been able to yet.

OMG, I was just watching an episode of the old Ghostbusters cartoons called "Sandman, dream me a dream", and there was this hilarious exchange between a mailbox and a letter that went thusly;
Mailbox: No, you CAN'T go to Hawaii! You'll go where your adressed! Like it or not!
Letter: Come on, gimee a chance! You never deliver all the letters you get anyway! Who'll notice?
Mailbox: Why I oughtta-(letter runsο»Ώ away) HEY! GET BACK HERE!!!
Letter: Free will! Attention brother letters, throw off your zip codes! Join the revolution!!! You have nothing to lose but your stamps!!!
