Thinking about my lesser-used Forever 16 characters recently, I thought it'd be cute if Michelle's little sister Jenny developed a crush on Kendra's little brother Eric. Of course, Eric is a little surprised to get his first kiss from a real live girl...and Kendra and Michelle are even more stunned.Related content

That honest to god happened to me once, very long time ago when I was at this girl's house. When we turned to the side, we noticed our moms right by the doorway same as in the drawing, although I don't think their reaction was this stunned.

I just wrote a story (or rather, updated and expanded an older version of a story I did four years ago) about Jenny talking Eric into being her boyfriend - it'll be going up on the site next February, so keep an eye out

Talking Eric into being her boyfriend? Either she has a secret crush on him and wants it to be official, or she doesn't get the grasp of boyfriend and girlfriend and decides to put him to good use seeing how he's the closest boy she knows.

I find it funny how people mention the phineas and ferb poster in the back.... but no one wonders how a couple of kids from the 90's managed to travel into the 2000's to get that poster..............

When I drew this, Nineteen-Ninety-Something was still called Forever 16 and wasn't set exclusively in any specific time period - some stories took place in the present. I only decided to keep it in the '90s once I changed the name and gave it its own website.

This is adorable.
Although I find myself getting hung up on who's room this is taking place is. The wall decorations make me think Eric's. But it seems odd to me that Michelle would be in the lead walking through Kendra's house.
I'm likely overthinking this, being crazy, or both.

The setup I devised is that Michelle has to watch Jenny for the afternoon, so she brought her over to Kendra's house with her and had her go play with Eric. Then when she goes upstairs to Eric's room to tell Jenny it's time to go home, she walks in on this.
