the colours and textures are really outstanding. i love that the subject has some depth and definition (without being too realistic at the same time) on the viewer's right, but veers off into the abstract even more on the left side. great job

i love how the person emerges out of the background itself..and the colour evoke an emotion that one also interprets in the expression of the subject, perhaps by the redness of the mouth as it hits the dark shadowed side of the face also.
