I think it's kind of funny for a nerd-like character to fall in love with a girl that nobody else has interest in.
Even I'd go out with a girl with a peek-a-boo bang, a curvy figure and a french accent.

You wouldn't believe how hard it is to find a good drawing of these two, but thank goodness for patience and perseverance, because I found one!
Fifi and Hampton (is it Hamton or Hampton?) look fantastic. Love this style! Fifi is one the most beautiful characters I've ever seen (she still is) and she deserves someone to love. Hampton (Hamton?) is a funny, quiet pig with a big appetite and an even bigger heart (cheesy but true). I love the episodes where these two show affection. There aren't many, but you gotta adore them. Some people might groan, but I think these two would be a great couple. Hampton doesn't seem to mind Fifi's smell and it's clear he likes her. He just needs to get over his shyness. Fifi is looking constantly for a "skunk-hunk" and so far has only found nothing or a despicable skunk named Johnny Pew. If she'd just open her eyes to more possibility, she might realize the one who cares most is closer than she thinks.
Beautiful shading! The detail in the cavern is especially grand, it looks so realistic! The colors in the water are mesmerizing; I can practically watch it flowing!
