This is what's been keeping me busy recently, besides the upcoming finals month! ><Just a cover crappily (quickly) put together. I really think I could've done better with this! I'm really not that happy with the layout... But I like how each Critter looks!
I still can't say that I'll be consistent with posting the pages. I never was able to finish a manga in the past!
For those unfamiliar with the Critters:
Niho: Rabbit in BG
Ching: Tarsier on upper left
Mika: Mouse on lower left
Soa: Dog on upper right
Ming-ming: Cat on lower right

I really don't wanna promise anything, because I never seem to finish any manga I've started (like what happened with "Spirit Link" in my gallery). Plus right now we're near the end of the schoolyear, so I can't really concentrate on this project. Besides, Working on a manga means I can't work on my usual deviations!
So, this'll be a sort of when-I-feel-like-working-on-it sort of thing!

Well the layout is OK, and the white BG suits it because it makes the character standout.

The blank BG actually has me thinking. One one hand, it's a practical choice if the manga is to be published as an indie using photocopiers. On the other hand, in the colored version, it makes Niho (the rabbit) blend into the BG instead of standing out!
Anyway, matipid ako sa disk space, kaya di ko na lang lalagyan ng color yung BG!

He-he! If ever I get to sell this, I can only publish it in grayscale if I do it on my own! Using photocopiers I mean!

Baka hindi na nga ako umabot sa deadline ng indie contest, malapit na rin kasi and hell week! 
Kung aabot man ako, flats lang ang mai-susubmit ko at mata lang ang may shading! Pero sayang naman, kung gagawa ka lang e dapat gandahan mo na. I guess kapos lang ako sa oras. Oh well, kaya ko lang naman talaga ginagawa 'to para sa DA at sa CCCOM e!

This is the cutest and sweetest cover I've ever seen. Though I don't know why it reminds me of volume 1 of the manga Instant Teen. Niho is MAD HAPPY, man. She makes me smile.

I think this is a popular choice for first-issue covers! You pick one character and place him/her in the bg, then fill the surroundings with little drawings of the other characters!
