Description This unit was assigned to a supervisor, therefore it did not have a roof beacon...just a flashing red passenger side spotlight and two amber rear deck lights.

This car was basically a 1979 Chrysler Newport and Dodge St. Regis redone,Same body..they just changed the head and tail lights, Put smaller turn signals on the sides, added turn signals under the headlights, and changed the grill. In 1982 Plymouth Gran Fury was made from using the Dodge Diplomat..This would remain the Gran Fury base until both cars was ended in 1989.

The Grand Fury remained in production the same time as the Diplomat and Monaco.
