Use a specular map or paint on the inside of the mouth, the large rock might need to be a bit more rough and maybe have a dirty/ dusty texture around the bottom of it so it doesn't look like a separate object that was just placed there.

Ya, I see what your saying, I had that effect on my first version of the rock, but i forgot to put it on the second when i had to redo it!

It's called realism. That is, this is a computer generated image that looks like a photograph but isn't.

According to jdchavez, this image was rendered in mental ray (which can produce quite photoreal results). So, nope, it's not real. Which is why it looks so cool.
