Materials and Methods
Nikon D80 + Tamron 90mm F2.8. A tiny strawberry attached to a Styrofoam board with a sewing needle submerged in seltzer water. A doll dress in the background. GIMP for post editing. Overlayed yellow and pink layer for color. Minor curves for contrast.

Additional Comments
I swear British strawberries taste better than American ones. Reject shots from the same session are available on my FB: [link]

Was it difficult to work with the seltzer water? I know someone who did something similar with this, and they had trouble because the bubbles would disappear to quickly. Did you have this issue?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

JeanFan In reply to EchoEclipsex [2010-08-14 01:26:50 +0000 UTC]

I suppose if the vase in which the object and seltzer water is held is disturbed, the bubbles detach from the object and disappear...but then you just have to wait awhile for the bubbles to rebuild on the object's surface But bubbles do adhere to some object's surfaces better than others.

I use a square vase. You can technically just use a larger glass if you don't mind the distortion.
