"Romano"? A type of cheese... maybe in the US... in Italy we don't have it. Unless you're speaking of "Pecorino romano", but it's abbreviate in "Pecorino"... it's a typical cheese of Lazio, made out with goat milk (Pecora = Goat, in Italian)... it has got a very strong flavour.

So true, when I'm at school my friends and I talk about Hetalia and there'll be kids outside of our friends group that give us weird looks. It's funny because my friends also sometimes call me Romano and people who know me but don't know the show are always so confused when I respond to the name Romano. XD
