General Information BASICS
Name: Wysterria
Age: 3,997 (though if you ask her, she'll lie)
Species: First generation water goddess | Horse | Hippocamus
Breed: looks like an Egyptian Arabian
Gender: Female | Mare
Height: 15.3 hh
Orientation: Heterosexual | Straight
FAMILY INFORMATION
Amira Amani (Arabic orientation, meaning "princess" and "wishes") | Daughter | 2nd Generation Goddess | Alive
Bran (Gaelic name meaning "raven") | Husband | Earth God 1st Generation | Unknown
POSITION
Rank: Wanderer | First Generation Goddess
Occupation: Goddess, she has no need for money or a job
Location: No one knows for sure, one can only know somewhere in the water.
Reputation: She was known for being a kind, forgiving, and understanding Goddess who took her duty as a protector/leader of her pod very seriously. She made it a point to occasionally get with the other Gods and Goddess to get to know them, form alliances, and to talk to another immortal of course. However, after the war, no one has heard from her since. Some believe she is dead, others say the High Gods killed her, and the rest say she is hiding somewhere in the waters and even claim to have seen her.
MAGIC
Magic Kind: Water
Magic Specification: A very powerful water mage. Has complete element control, along with high ice manipulation, which she uses to create beautiful frozen images, crystals, and a great powerful defense. Using the ice crystals she creates/gems she found, she cast varies enchantment spells. Many of them have magic energy in them so that she may use the gem's magic to cast spells, illusions, change forms, etc. instead of draining her own energy. Although she can shift-change, she rarely goes to other forms other than her hippocamus form and her horse form. Having total control of her magic kind, she can also make just about an form with water imaginable, big or small. She mainly uses the "light" form of Water after fear of once using her dark magic in her element. Due to this, she, ironically, has advance knowledge of herbs and healing.
Magic Abilities:
- Total Water control/manipulation and advance ice control/manipulation
- Underwater Telekinesis (much like how Dolphins create sound pulses in their foreheads for echolocation, except with words. She can read thoughts, however it is not hard to learn how to hide them from her, nor can she completely read minds. Although she could if she wanted to, she feels that it is an invasion of privacy and would never dare)
- Breathe underwater
- Talk to all sea creatures
- Shapeshifting (though this is often used from a magic gem that has magically energy in it)
- Healing (mostly uses Herbs and other things to help)
- Control of sea creatures (the "natural" ones of course. Those with intelligence are harder to control)
- Is able to communicate via water reflections and can control the size of it as well as communicate through any body of water, big or small. Almost like Skype via water if you will.
Magic Level: 250 (estimated)
PHYSICAL INFO
Size: Average "horse" size | Slightly larger than the average Hippocamus
Appearance: dark, almost black, smooth coat. Markings seem to have a slight glow as does mane and tail. Is almost never dry, of course, being in the water all the time has something to do with that. Forelock is kept just above the eyes and is neatly trimmed, along with her mane, which is kept short and never hangs down past her throat. Is seen with many of jewelry, rather it be bracelets, necklaces, or head jewelry. Is skinny but not scary skinny (IE some ribs do show, but not to the point where one would be scared that she'd pass out in front of them), has some muscles, but she is more lean than muscular. Being almost 16 hands tall, she has some long but well built legs. If she were a human, she could be a leg model no problem.
Voice: Her voice can only be described as soothing, yet full of power and wisdom. She speaks low and softly, but not quietly nor loudly. Her singing voice is what is most beautiful, for some mortals often get it confused with that of a siren's and some even say that it is more hypnotizing and is the inspiration of the siren's songs and calls.
PersonalityGood Bad Good/Bad
( Shy | Gemologist | Vain | Motherly | Proud | Mysterious | Wise | Lonely | Observant | Quiet )
Shy
"having or showing nervousness or timidity in the company of other people"
Wysterria has just about always been the shy one, although she was the one who set the meetings of some of the Gods she would met with; she still was not known to be the most open. After the war however, she has gone even more shy and rarely leaves the water, for she sees it as her only solitude. It is now hard to lure her out of her little shell and even harder for her now to make friends, let alone talk to anyone.
Gemologist
"the science dealing with natural and artificial gemstone materials"
You know what they say, "diamonds are a girl's best friend." For this Goddess it's true with just about any gem or crystal, and she can create any kind you can imagine. Even some that don't exist. Her favorite style tends to lean more towards ocean colors, also the crystals that she fashioned after her pod.
Vain
"having or showing an excessively high opinion of one's appearance"
True to her "Arabian" looking build, Wysterria is very vain and cares a lot about her appearance. She is often seen adored with many of jewelry (often in Egyptian looking style) and different assortments of clothing. Not to mention, she is more attracted to "pretty" things and tends to try to "perfect" the appearance of something. This isn't to say she will be rude/ignore you if you're ugly, she may be vain but she isn't shallow.
Motherly
"of, resembling, or characteristic of a mother, especially in being caring, protective, and kind"
Being a mother tends to bring out this side, then again, Wysterria always seemed to be the caring/forgiving/gentle type. She is just about always kind and willing to listen to both sides of the story before resorting the problem. She is very nurturing too and will help just about anyone who is in pain and needs her aid. This characteristic of hers does its best to overcome her shyness, but sadly she is just too scared.
Proud
"feeling deep pleasure or satisfaction as a result of one's own achievements, qualities, or possessions"
She may be shy, but Wysterria knows her power and her strengths. Another seemingly true trait of that Arabian, she takes pride in most of the things she does. It is often shown upon the way she carries herself, with that of grace and pride that could outmatch any queen. She holds her head high, but doesn't snub her nose at others. Proud, yes, arrogant? No. Not all the time anyways.
Wise
"having or showing experience or knowledge"
Like any other God or Goddess it seems wisdom is the one thing they all have in common. After all, you don't live over 2 thousand years and not learn something. She knows many things and she may be shy and in hiding, but she is not out of the loop. She probably knows the latest news just like any person in the cities would and has heard many things...and many rumors. Her wide of knowledge of certain things also helps with her wisdom, and one can often see it in her eyes. She looks young on the outside, but stare into those aqua blue eyes and you will see the wisdom of an old soul.
Mysterious
"having an atmosphere of strangeness or secrecy"
Due to being in hiding, not much is known of Wysterria's current being. Rather or not she is even alive is unknown by most having not shown her face ever since the ending of the war. Some have rumored to see her, but then she seems to vanish as if she were a trick of the ocean mist...or perhaps a siren. No one knows for sure, but the number of sightings of a dark mare with a mysterious air seem to be more and more; and if the rumors are true, it looks like Wysterria has finally come out of hiding. But for what?
Lonely
"having an atmosphere of strangeness or secrecy"
Not only is she lonely from staying in solitude, but she is lonely in her heart as well. The after effects seemed to have done more of a toll on the poor kind-hearted Goddess than it did on the other Gods. She is used to her loneliness though and does not seem to mind it. However, she cannot shake that longing feeling in her heart of that warm glow that love once felt.
Quiet
"tranquil and reserved by nature; not brash or forceful"
If you ever manage to meet her face to face, good luck getting a whole conversation out of her. She is very quiet and does not say much. Her long solitude has made her a bit socially awkward, and she was never really one to speak her mind first to begin with. She was always the quiet, kind, reserved type; but at the same time no one dared walked all over her. After-all, no one is stupid enough to anger a Goddess. A high Water one for that matter either.
Observant
"aware of and attentive to"
Being quiet makes her pay more attention to detail and observe things quicker than most people. She is just about always listening, even when you don't think she is. She listens closely and effectively. Which is also how she is up to date on just about everything. She has her own methods of getting around, being able to travel in water does have it's perks.
BackgroundPLEASE NOTE: This is just a timeline-like version of her history since I started going into way more detailed than I would have liked for a reference sheet. A more detailed and story-like version of her history is: Past of A Teary Heart
If you wish to read it in all it's glory than be my guest and tell me what you think. If you just want to know the jiff of her story than just read below.
Creation
Wysterria is created from the High Gods. She is sent to watch over her part of the ocean where a coral reef was. Eventually, a pod of hippocampi came to visit and decided to stay. They respected her as a higher being, and despite her objections, they worshipped her and viewed her as their leader.
The Meeting
Wysterria sets up meetings to met and share information with the other Gods and Goddesses near her. Bran, an Earth God who watches over a herd of small draft breeds, is right next to her land and so their meetings become more and more frequent
The Alliance
Bran realizes his feelings for Wysterria and forms a plan to win her hand. He confesses his love to Wysterria and she agrees to marry him. The two herds join together as one and celebrate the couple's engagement and marriage.
The Relationship and The Herd
Herd is more like a large society now and behaves like a typical herd. Bran is starting to act strange and is growing more distant, cold, and manipulative towards Wysterria. He manages to convince her to try to start a family, and she is soon pregnant.
The War
War between the Gods has now started. Despite the couple's hard-to-get-to location, a strong/evil alliance of Gods and their herds, known as The Alliance, have found them and want the land and gems it holds.
The Warning
The Alliances tells the couple to surrender and abide to The Alliance's rules or they and their herd will die. They give the couple four days to decide. Wysterria tells Bran of her plan but he begs her not to do it. She goes behind him in secret.
The Minor God
Without her husband's knowledge, Wysterria creates a powerful, large, and dangerous demon in the form of a sea monster. She also enchanted Black Opals to later store the Demon for the up coming attack.
The Battle
The four days are up and Bran has rallied brave and strong herd members as warriors to help fight in the battle. He casts an earthquake that crumbles the only way into the herd's territory. Though it doesn't stop The Alliance for long and the first part of their army is soon rushing out of the tunnel. Before any side can so much as hit one another, the sea-demon rises out of the water and gives a terrifying roar. Scaring the little part of the army half to death and retreating, causing a confusion in the attack and thus forcing The Alliance to retreat.
The Banishment
After the war and the banishment of the Gods from their homeland, Wysterria and her husband left their herd brokenhearted. However, shortly after the banishment their filly was born.
The Sickness
The couple was overjoyed with their beautiful daughter, and Bran appeared to be slowly going back to his old self. But their daughter was sick with a strange illness. They could only temporally heal her, despite many attempts to fully heal her. Wysterria sends her husband to search for an old friend, in hopes that she can fully heal her. But he never returned.
The Spell
After many months of Bran being gone, and the filly starting to grow sicker, Wysterria castes a sleeping spell on her daughter. She then encased her in a large and cold ice crystal so that she was still alive and protected without suffering from the sickness. To this day she is still encased and sleeping.
Final
Wysterria has stayed in hiding ever since the ending of the war. She has lost all hope of finding her husband but is still searching for a cure to save her daughter. A few have seen her walking around on the shoreline, and it has been more and more frequent. Has the long lost goddess finally decided to come out of hiding? Or is this only temporary?
